What is transformational leadership?
Transformational leadership training is a way to guide in which leaders empower, encourage and inspire their employees to constitute and make change that will develop and shape the expected success of the organization. This is practiced by setting a pattern at the administrative
level through business customs, employee proprietorship and freedom at
the workplace. Transformational leadership works well when leaders’ practices impact
assistants and motivate them to perform prior to their apparent abilities.
Bernard
Bass along with his colleague Bruce Avolio created and developed a theory and
estimation of transformational leadership that involved four principal
components that are also referred to as 4 I’s of transformational leadership i.e.
1: Idealized Influence: A
transformational leader incorporates the characteristics that he/she needs in
his/her group because it is easy for the followers to believe in their leader
as a role model.

Inspirational Motivation: Transformational leaders can motivate their assistants through
clarity in their vision.
3: Individualized Consideration: Transformational
leaders exhibit authentic concern for the requirements and sentiments of
followers and enable them self-realize. This individual attention regarding
every follower helps to create trust between the authority and members of the
association.
4: Intellectual Stimulation:
Transformational leaders inspire supporters to be inventive and creative. They
urge their followers to rock the boat.
Characteristics of a transformational leader:
Visionary: Transformational
leaders can motivate their assistants to change prospects, observations, and
inspirations through the power of vision and behavior, to make efforts towards
shared objectives.
Role model: Transformational
leaders are role models. They possess strong communication skills. Their
followers idealize them because they have a strong ability to understand their
followers and can inspire them to adjust in different situations and also
towards the success of the organization, team and public.
Team-centric: Transformational
leaders vision a chance of development in others. They have strong moral
values. They endeavor to put their groups before themselves without considering
their own capacity. They are not self-centric.
Collaborative: Transformational leaders are
the unique leaders as they have an in-built skill to understand others and
bring everyone together to work freely in a collaborative environment for
common benefits of the organization.

Enforcing
transformational leadership can lead to many positive results in the workplace
and also in other situations.
